Ecolifelab Mission

Ecolifelab delivers products and consulting for comfortable, energy self-sufficient architecture in Japan.

Among industrialized countries, Japan is characterized by low grade housing and high energy consumption.

Ecolifelab focuses on comfortable living with energy self contained architecture to meet the growing need for better living environments, for example due to Japans aging population, customer pressure to reduce running cost, and the nations need to reduce carbondioxide emissions.

We sell leading components from carefully selected world class manufacturers for solar thermal heating, solar thermal cooling, biomass heat sources, solar electrification, superinsulation, heat recycling, and other solutions designed to meet the requirements of Japanese users, climate, architecture, and society.

The Bureau of Environment of the Tokyo　Metropolitan Government　added IFCJ Ecolifelab in January 2009 as a cooperation company to its ambitious project to increase the use of solar energy to 1 Million kW installed base by 2016. The solar project is part of Tokyos Renewable Energy Strategy.

IFCJ Ecolifelab cooperates with the Tokyo Metropolitan Center for Climate Change Actions.
